What the app stores

Med Locker keeps these things in its own storage on your phone:

• The rounds you set up and their times.
• The medication names, amounts and units you type in.
• Your dose history: which rounds you logged, when, and whether you took or skipped them.
• Your choices in the app, such as which apps you picked to lock and whether reminders are on.
• A small technical log that helps us understand what the app did on your phone if something goes wrong.

All of this lives on your phone only. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is gone.

What the app does not do

• No account. You never give us your name, email or password.
• No server. The app has no code that talks to the internet.
• No analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
• No sharing. Nobody is told what you take or whether you took it. Not caregivers, not doctors, not us.
• No selling of data. There is no data to sell.

Locking your apps

Med Locker locks the apps you choose by using a permission built into your phone. When you pick apps in the picker, your phone hands the app a coded reference for each one. Med Locker cannot read which apps you chose, cannot see how you use them, and cannot see anything inside them. Calls and emergency features on your phone always work.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your phone. They are made and delivered on the phone itself. No reminder passes through us.

Payments

Subscriptions are bought through your Apple ID. Apple handles the payment. We never see your card number or billing details. The app checks with Apple whether your subscription is active so it knows whether to run your locks. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time.

The technical log

The app keeps a short log of what it did, such as when a lock started or when a reminder was scheduled. It stays on your phone. The only way it reaches us is if you choose to send it when asking for help, or connect your phone to a computer and share it yourself.

Children

Med Locker is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects nothing from anyone, there is nothing to collect from a child either.

Med Locker is a medication reminder. It does not give medical advice. Questions about your medications go to your doctor or pharmacist.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, the app will tell you.
